desiccantdryer

About

During the regeneration process, compressed air is passed through a desiccant such as silica gel or activated alumina to absorb moisture from the air. Once the desiccant becomes saturated with moisture, it must be regenerated or "dried" to regain its adsorption capacity. This is typically done by recirculating some of the dry compressed air through the desiccant bed to remove the moisture and allow the desiccant to be reused.

Zero-loss regenerative air dryers are designed to prevent loss of compressed air during the regeneration process. This is typically accomplished by using a series of valves or other control mechanisms to redirect a portion of the dry compressed air surrounding the desiccant bed during regeneration rather than venting it to atmosphere. By eliminating air losses during the regeneration process, these dryers can reduce operating costs and improve the efficiency of compressed air systems. Pls check below link to know more about regenerative desiccant air dryer.
