Outlook Message Archiving You may copy messages from your IMAP mailbox to folders established under an archive location and data file by selecting the messages you wish to archive in your IMAP account and dragging and dropping them into the necessary folder under the archive location and data file. Messages will then be immediately transferred to the chosen destination and deleted from your IMAP inbox on the LCN server. Website: IMAP Backup Tool You may also employ Outlook's auto-archiving functions by choosing Tools from the File menu, followed by Clean Up Old Items.

Choose the folder you wish to archive, the date period for the messages to be archived, and the location of the data file where the archived messages should be relocated. To automatically archive messages for the chosen folder and time frame, choose Ok.

You may verify that the disk utilization for your account has been updated by login into Webmail once your account has finished synchronizing in Outlook:
